Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

User Research & Analysis

• Understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points.
• Conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
• Create user personas and journey maps.
  

UX Design

• Design wireframes, user flows, and information architecture
• Build prototypes to test user interactions and functionality.
• Focus on accessibility and usability.
  

UI Design

• Create visually appealing and consistent interfaces.
• Design responsive layouts for various devices (mobile, tablet, desktop).
• Define visual design elements: typography, color palettes, icons, spacing, etc.
  

Frontend Development (UI Coding)

• Convert design mockups into responsive, functional web pages.
• Use HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs.
  

Design Systems & Guidelines

• Create and maintain design systems or style guides.
• Ensure consistency across all products or pages.
  

Testing & Iteration

• Perform usability testing and gather feedback.
• Optimize UI components for performance and accessibility.
• Iterate designs and code based on real-world user behaviour.
  

Collaboration

• Work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders.
• Participate in Agile or Scrum processes.
• Communicate design decisions clearly with reasoning.

Preferred candidate profile

Experience:

• 1-3 years of experience in UI/UX design and development (or strong portfolio for freshers).
• Hands-on experience with design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
• Practical knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design.
  

• Design Thinking: Strong understanding of UX principles, user-centred design, and usability standards.
  
• Coding Skills: Familiarity with frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js is a plus.
  
• Creative & Analytical: Able to create clean, visually appealing designs backed by data and user feedback.
