D365 BC - Technical Consultant @ Mindquad Solutions

• Collaborate with clients and functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for implementing and customizing the D365 Business Central system.

• Configure the D365 Business Central system to meet client-specific needs by defining data structures, creating custom fields and tables, and setting up workflows and approval processes.

• Develop and customize business logic, reports, and interfaces using programming languages and tools such as C/AL (C/SIDE), AL (Extensions v2), and Visual Studio Code. Integrate D365 Business Central with other applications and systems as required.

• Conduct thorough testing of customized functionalities, configurations, and integrations to ensure they meet the defined requirements and function correctly. Identify and resolve any issues or bugs that arise during testing.

• Provide technical guidance and support to end-users during the implementation and post-implementation phases. Train users on how to effectively use and navigate the D365 Business Central system.

• Prepare technical documentation, including solution designs, technical specifications, and user manuals, to support the implementation, customization, and maintenance of the D365 Business Central system.

• Stay updated with the latest releases, updates, and features of D365 Business Central. Assess the impact of system upgrades and recommend enhancements to improve system performance, scalability, and security.

• Work closely with project managers, functional consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication, coordination, and successful delivery of projects. Provide timely updates on project progress, risks, and issues.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience as a technical consultant implementing / supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

• Expert knowledge of coding in both C/AL and AL

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into system requirements.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Ready to travel client site as and when required.

• Readiness for service commitment
