Role & responsibilities

Spark/Scala

Proficient in Spark Scala framework.
Create Scala/Spark jobs for data transformation and aggregation.
Produce unit tests for Spark transformations and helper methods.
Scala (with a focus on the functional programming paradigm).
Proficient in DB design, Able to understand and write complex queries.
Scalatest, JUnit, Kafka
