Job Description
- As an experienced and proficient AI Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and deploying cutting-edge AI models in both edge and cloud environments, with a specialization in computer vision applications. Your expertise in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and computer vision will be crucial in designing, training, and optimizing models for deployment in resource-constrained edge devices as well as scalable cloud infrastructures. Your key responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and define AI solutions that align with business objectives. You will research and implement state-of-the-art algorithms and techniques in computer vision and deep learning, optimizing models for inference speed, memory footprint, and power consumption on edge devices. Additionally, you will develop and maintain efficient deployment pipelines for edge and cloud environments, evaluate hardware platforms for AI model deployment, and conduct performance analysis to ensure the reliability and accuracy of deployed models. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with a preference for a Master's degree or Ph.D. You must have a minimum of 3-4 years of experience in AI/ML development, focusing on computer vision applications. Proficiency in deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras, as well as strong programming skills in Python and knowledge of software development best practices are essential. Experience with edge computing platforms like NVIDIA Jetson, Raspberry Pi, or Qualcomm Snapdragon, and familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform are required. You should also be well-versed in deployment tools and technologies for edge and cloud environments, including Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS IoT Greengrass. Hands-on experience with computer vision libraries and tools like OpenCV and Dlib, and an understanding of hardware-accelerated inference frameworks like NVIDIA TensorRT and Intel OpenVINO, are highly beneficial. Moreover, your problem-solving skills, ability to thrive in a fast-paced collaborative environment, strong communication, and interpersonal skills will be instrumental in mentoring junior engineers, providing technical guidance, collaborating with stakeholders, and driving innovation to deliver high-quality solutions.
