Shift Timings : 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements and design documents
Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing for web applications and APIs
Validate data integrity across systems and databases in support of telecom-specific workflows (e.g., provisioning, billing, mediation)
Log, track, and manage defects using tools like JIRA or similar systems
Collaborate with developers to understand features and debug issues
Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning in Agile/Scrum teams
Maintain comprehensive documentation of test results, test environments, and QA processes
Help identify and suggest improvements in test coverage, tooling, or process efficiency

Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience
25 years of experience in manual testing of web applications and APIs
Strong understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC) and QA methodologies
Experience testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman or Swagger
Familiarity with SQL and ability to write basic queries to validate backend data
Experience using bug tracking and test case management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail)
Clear verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail
Ability to think critically and anticipate edge cases in complex systems

Preferred Qualifications:
Exposure to OSS/BSS systems in telecom, particularly billing or provisioning
Experience working in Agile environments and participating in sprint ceremonies
Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments for basic log reading and validation
Knowledge of version control systems like Git
Understanding of basic networking concepts (e.g., HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP)
Experience collaborating with automation testers or working toward automation goals is a plus
