Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced QA Analyst to join our team in India, supporting the Capital Markets division. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across the Front, Middle, and Back Office of Capital Markets applications. This role will be responsible for defining test strategies, writing and executing test cases, performing data analysis, and driving automation efforts. The QA Analyst will work closely with stakeholders, business analysts, developers, and project managers to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test strategies and plans for large, cross-functional Capital Markets projects.
- Analyze business and functional requirements to design test cases that cover end-to-end workflows.
- Conduct manual and automated testing of applications across Front Office, Middle Office, and Back Office systems.
- Create, manage, and execute functional, regression, integration, and data-driven tests.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to track defects, identify root causes, and ensure resolution.
- Maintain thorough documentation of test cases, defects, and test results in compliance with MUFG standards.
- Work with Data Analysts to design test data and perform data validation, including inter-system reconciliations.
- Participate in Agile or Waterfall SDLC processes as required.
- Contribute to test automation initiatives using tools such as Java, Python, Selenium, and Maven.
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of hands-on QA experience with Capital Markets applications.
- Strong understanding of Capital Markets products: Equities, Fixed Income, Structured Products, Derivatives, Repos, Securities Lending, Secondary Loan Trading.
- Proven experience with manual and automated testing, test estimation, strategy, and defect management.
- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries; hands-on experience with Oracle and SQL Server.
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test lifecycle, and Agile/Waterfall development methodologies.
- Experience with test management tools: JIRA, TestRail, TestNG (preferred).
- Knowledge of Data Warehouse testing (Trades, Positions, Cash, FOBO).
- Familiarity with Collateral Management systems and Broadridge platforms like Finpro, BPS, Impact (preferred).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate with global teams.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in test automation frameworks using Java, Python, Selenium, Maven, IntelliJ IDEA.
- Experience in reconciliation and troubleshooting across multiple systems.
- Go-getter attitude with a strong drive to take initiative and solve problems proactively.
