Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Product Development Manager to lead the end-to-end development of innovative and high-quality products. You will manage cross-functional teams, oversee product lifecycle execution, and ensure the timely delivery of features aligned with business objectives. The ideal candidate combines a strong product mindset with technical expertise, effective team leadership, and a disciplined approach to execution.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Product Management, or a related field.
- 8+ years of relevant experience in software development or product delivery, with at least 23 years in a management or leadership role.
- Proven success managing product development teams in Agile environments.
- Strong understanding of modern software architectures, SDLC, and cloud platforms (preferably Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, Git, Confluence, etc.
- Excellent communication, project management, and team leadership skills.
- Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Technical Skills:
- Experience in SaaS, enterprise platforms, or digital product companies.
- Technical background with hands-on coding or architecture experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, or containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Exposure to user-centric design, data analytics, or AI/ML-based product development.
- Certifications in Agile, Scrum, PMP, or Product Management are a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage product development teams (engineering, design, QA) to deliver on product vision and roadmap.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, and Stakeholders to define clear requirements and prioritize development efforts.
- Translate product strategies into detailed, actionable development plans with clear milestones and deliverables.
- Drive execution excellence across the entire product lifecycle: concept, design, build, test, release, and scale.
- Ensure high standards in software quality, security, performance, and scalability.
- Manage sprint planning, backlog grooming, and team capacity using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Balance technical feasibility, business priorities, and customer experience.
- Hire, mentor, and grow high-performing development teams.
