Job Description
- You will be responsible for leading the annotation of medical images according to clinical guidelines and project-specific requirements. Your role will involve validating and ensuring the quality and accuracy of annotations in collaboration with a team of clinical experts. It will be essential to make sure that the annotations are suitable for AI model development and comply with standards of consistency and clinical accuracy. In addition, you will support quality assurance processes through regular audits and validations, while working closely with data scientists, machine learning engineers, and clinicians to optimize annotation workflows. To excel in this role, you must have expertise in Medical Imaging Annotation, including experience with DICOM, PACS, and other medical imaging systems. Proficiency in annotating images from CT, MRI, X-ray, and ultrasound modalities is required. You should also have proven experience in using medical annotation tools such as ITK-SNAP, Labelbox, V7 Labs, or similar platforms. Leadership skills are crucial as you will be leading and mentoring a team of annotators to ensure quality control and project adherence. Experience in collaborating with clinical experts, such as radiologists, to validate the medical accuracy of annotations is beneficial. Moreover, you should be able to optimize annotation workflows by leveraging advanced technologies and providing innovative solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy. Desirable capabilities for this role include a strong understanding of anatomy, pathology, and medical terminologies. Experience working with AI and machine learning teams to ensure annotations align with the requirements for training AI models is also advantageous.
