We are currently seeking a candidate for the role of Automation and API Testing at our office in Bengaluru. As an Automation and API Testing professional at IntelliCredence Pvt. Ltd., you will be responsible for daily tasks related to testing API Automation Testing, ensuring quality and functionality. Your role will involve analyzing test cases, effective communication, and software testing to support the development process. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 8 years of experience and possess mandatory skills in Selenium and API. Responsibilities include demonstrating analytical skills and test case management, experience in software testing and test engineering, strong communication skills for effective collaboration, knowledge in testing methodologies and practices, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities. You should also be experienced in Agile/Scrum SDLC and tools like JIRA, Confluence, proficient in Core Java, knowledgeable in Python scripting language, and have expertise in black-box and white-box testing methods along with applying BDD practices. Furthermore, you are required to have experience with Automation tools such as Selenium with Java/Python for automated tests across application layers, design, develop, and maintain reusable/scalable Automation Test frameworks like POM, TestNG. Experience with BDD, gherkin language, static code analysis, code coverage analysis, cross-browser testing, API testing, and test data management is necessary. You should adhere to best practices and coding standards, have working knowledge of CI/CD and tools like Jenkins, GitHub, and Web Services standards/technologies such as HTML, XML, SOAP, JSON, REST, Junit. In addition to technical skills, we value behavioral attributes such as strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, understanding of business processes, ability to gather and document business requirements, strong collaboration skills, ability to work independently as well as with a team, ability to handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines. A good team player who can work independently in a high throughput environment and handle multiple technology initiatives simultaneously. Qualifications required for this position include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/IT or a related field, 4 to 8 years of relevant work experience, and preference will be given to candidates who have previously worked in the Automobile and Manufacturing domain.
