Job Description
- Obinex is a Pre-Seed stage Startup with a mission to develop a simple ecosystem to facilitate the adoption of the centralized economy in the decentralized space and promote a more secure centralization. At this early stage, the equity offering is the central focus until funding is secured, subject to a probationary and vesting period. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist at this Pre-Seed FinTech startup, your primary responsibility will be to identify and recruit top talent for key roles in blockchain, crypto, and FinTech. Working closely with HR Team members and Hiring Managers, you will define hiring needs, source candidates through specialized platforms and Web3 communities, and manage the full recruitment process. Additionally, you will play a key role in shaping the startup's employer brand within the Web3 space and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new hires. Your key responsibilities will include collaborating with founders and key stakeholders to define critical roles in tech, product, and business development tailored to Web3/FinTech needs. You will use specialized platforms, networks, and Web3 communities to find candidates skilled in blockchain, decentralized finance (DeFi), and crypto. Assessing candidates" skills in blockchain technologies, smart contracts, crypto assets, and FinTech to align with startup needs will also be a part of your role. Promoting the startup's Web3 vision and unique culture across social media, events, and professional networks to attract top talent, building and maintaining a pipeline of Web3 and FinTech professionals, facilitating smooth integration of new hires into remote or hybrid teams will be crucial. Staying updated on Web3 talent trends and competitive compensation in the crypto and FinTech sectors will also be part of your responsibilities. The ideal candidate will bring deep understanding of blockchain, decentralized finance (DeFi), smart contracts, and cryptocurrency technologies, along with proven experience working in fast-paced startup environments. Expertise in sourcing and assessing talent for highly technical roles, strong connections within Web3 communities, proficiency in hiring for remote or hybrid teams, strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, ability to adjust recruitment strategies quickly, experience in building a compelling employer brand within Web3 and FinTech circles, and skill in using recruiting metrics and data to optimize hiring processes and decisions. In return, as a Pre-Seed Startup, the equity offering will be a key part of the compensation package, subject to a trial and vesting period. Due to limited funding in the early stages, remuneration will be considered as part of the bigger picture. You will have the opportunity to work with a team of highly motivated service providers with diverse experiences.,
