Job Description
As we expand our integration ecosystem and AI capabilities, were looking for a Backend Developer (Node.js) to help connect Zonka Feedback - our AI-powered customer experience and feedback management platform - with the leading tools and scale our platform to the next level.
You'll play a key role in building smart, scalable integrations using Node.js that power our AI-driven insights engine, enabling businesses to automate feedback workflows, uncover intelligent insights, make real-time, data-backed decisions, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Job Role
- Build, maintain, and optimize scalable backend services using Node.js and related frameworks
- Design and implement third-party API integrations (CRMs, Helpdesks, Analytics tools, Payment Gateways, etc.)
- Write clean, efficient and well documented code
- Collaborate with frontend, product, and QA teams to deliver features end-to-end
- Ensure performance, security, scalability, and data protection, and reliability of backend services
- Debug, troubleshoot, and continuously improve existing systems and integrations
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in backend development using Node.js.
- Strong experience in building and maintaining external API integrations
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, OAuth, Webhooks, and authentication mechanisms.
- Experience with MongoDB
- Understanding of backend design principles and scalable architecture
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Prior experience working in a SaaS or product-based company is a plus
