Core Competencies: PowerBuilder (preferably 2022+) | PFC | SQL Server, Oracle, or Sybase |Modern UI Design Principles | Database Optimization | CI/CD
Knows how to tackle challenges and work independently when needed, Communicates well and works smoothly with the team, What do we expect
A PowerBuilder Developer should be comfortable working with PowerBuilder, ideally using version 2022 or newer, Familiarity with PowerBuilder Foundation Classes (PFC) is a plus, but not a dealbreaker, Strong SQL skills, experience with Stored Procedures, and a good grasp of database optimization are key for handling data efficiently, A solid understanding of modern UI design principles and application performance tuning helps in building smooth, user-friendly applications, Experience with CI/CD pipelines for PowerBuilder applications is an advantage, making deployment and updates more efficient, Beyond technical skills, a problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently are important, Good communication and a collaborative approach ensure smooth teamwork and project success, What You'll Bring to the Table
Focuses on developing, improving, and maintaining PowerBuilder applications to keep them efficient and reliable, Works on modernizing UI designs, making sure applications follow best practices and stay user-friendly, Optimizes performance by working with databases like SQL Server, Oracle, or Sybase, ensuring smooth and efficient data handling, Troubleshoots and resolves issues quickly, keeping applications running without major disruptions, Collaborates with different teams to gather requirements and turn ideas into functional solutions, Reviews code, tests new features, and helps with smooth deployments, Ensures applications are secure, scalable, and aligned with business needs, Documents important technical details and provides user support when needed, Core benefits youll gain
