Mandatory to have:

Around 5 years experience as Microsoft Power BI developer who can design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions using Power BI, transforming raw data into insightful reports and dashboards.

1 to 3 days per week - work from Bengaluru office

Job Description Summary

Gathering and understanding business requirements - Working with stakeholders to define the scope, objectives, and specific needs of Power BI reports and dashboards.

Designing and developing Power BI reports and dashboards - Creating visualizations, calculations, and interactive elements to effectively communicate insights.

Data modeling and transformation - Designing efficient data models to organize and structure data for analysis, and using Power Query to clean, transform, and load data from various sources.

Developing DAX calculations and measures - Using Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) language to create custom calculations and measures to meet specific analytical requirements.

Ensuring data accuracy and security - Implementing data validation rules, access controls, and row-level security to maintain data integrity and confidentiality.

Troubleshooting and resolving issues - Identifying and resolving problems related to data connections, report performance, and user access.

Providing training and support - Educating users on how to effectively use Power BI dashboards and reports.

Staying up-to-date with the latest Power BI features - Continuous learning and adaptation to the evolving landscape of Power BI and business intelligence.

Collaboration - Working with data engineers, data analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure data quality and alignment with business needs.

SQL - Familiarity with SQL for data querying and manipulation.

Problem-solving and analytical skills - Ability to identify and resolve issues and analyze data to derive meaningful insights.
