Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Process Management:
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily production operations for electronics assembly (SMT, THT, final assembly).
- Develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency, cost reduction, and quality improvement.
- Technical Support:
- Provide technical support to operators and maintenance teams.
- Troubleshoot issues related to PCB assembly, soldering, component placement, and testing.
- Assist in the implementation of new products (NPI) into production lines.
- Quality and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IPC-A-610, RoHS).
- Collaborate with the Quality team to investigate and resolve production defects and customer complaints.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Continuous Improvement:
- Lead lean manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to reduce waste and improve productivity.
- Participate in Kaizen events and suggest improvements to layout, equipment, and workflow.
- Analyze production data and implement improvements based on findings.
- Equipment and Materials:
- Recommend and help procure manufacturing equipment, jigs, and fixtures.
- Oversee preventive maintenance schedules for production machinery.
- Coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure timely availability of materials and components.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 25 years of experience in a production engineering role within an electronics or EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) company.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of electronics manufacturing processes (SMT, THT, soldering, testing).
- Familiarity with ESD safety practices and IPC standards.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and project management abilities.
