We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and support the organization in making sound financial decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and a high level of accuracy.
Financial Record-Keeping:
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.
General Ledger Management:
Prepare journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
Accounts Payable & Receivable:
Process invoices, track payments, and manage accounts payable and receivable functions.
Payroll Support:
Assist in preparing payroll and ensure timely disbursement of employee salaries and benefits (if applicable).
Tax Preparation & Compliance:
Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
Support the development of budgets and forecasts by providing relevant financial insights.
Audit Support:
Coordinate with internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and explanations during audits.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
Expense Monitoring:
Review and monitor company expenses to identify areas for cost control or improvement.
