Position Overview
We are looking for a talented Python Developer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing backend services, designing real-time integrations, and ensuring the performance and scalability of our AI-driven platforms. Ideal candidates will have a strong foundation in Python and experience with frameworks such as Django or FastAPI, along with knowledge of asynchronous processing and API integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Backend Development: Architect, develop, and maintain backend services using Python with frameworks like Django or FastAPI.
- Real-Time Integration: Design and implement WebSocket and Webhook endpoints to facilitate real-time data handling and interactive application features.
- Asynchronous Tasks: Utilize Celery for background task management and scheduling, ensuring tasks run efficiently and reliably.
- API Development: Develop, consume, and document both internal and external APIs, ensuring a seamless integration process using tools like Postman.
- Code Quality: Engage in code reviews, collaborate with team members, and maintain best practices for coding standards and testing.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, data scientists, and product managers, to translate requirements into tangible solutions.
Requirements
- * A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or relevant work experience).
- At least 3 years of professional experience in Python development.
- Strong experience with Django and/or FastAPI frameworks is essential.
- Familiarity with WebSockets and Webhooks is required.
- Experience working with Celery for managing asynchronous tasks is a plus.
- Ability to create, test, and document APIs using Postman or similar tools.
- Deep understanding of Python data structures (e.g., lists, tuples, dictionaries) and coding best practices.
- Familiarity with Git for version control and CI/CD practices.
- Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
- Familiarity with database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL).
Strong awareness of security best practices and performance optimization techniques.
