Job Description

Kadence, Indias leading brand in musical instruments, is looking for an experienced and passionate Assistant Vice President Retail Sales to lead and oversee the performance of our retail stores across the country. This role requires a strong leader who thrives in a high-growth retail environment and is enthusiastic about music and customer engagement.


Key Responsibilities

  • Retail Store Oversight: Supervise and manage the functioning of Kadence retail stores, ensuring consistent performance and customer experience.
  • Sales Leadership: Motivate and inspire store teams to achieve their sales targets within defined timeframes.
  • Travel: Regularly visit stores to conduct performance reviews, provide on-ground support, and strengthen team morale.
  • Stock & Inventory Coordination: Collaborate with the operations team to manage stock requirements and ensure timely delivery of inventory to each store.
  • Team Development: Work closely with store associates to identify skill gaps and support training and development initiatives.
  • Sales Analysis & Reporting: Monitor sales data, identify trends, and prepare regular performance reports with actionable insights.
  • Customer Experience Management: Ensure every store upholds Kadences high standards of service, ambiance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Process Optimization: Identify and implement improvements in store operations, merchandising, and in-store promotions.

Candidate Profile

  • Experience: 4+ years in retail sales and operations, preferably in musical instruments industry.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, people management, sales-driven mindset, and analytical abilities.
  • Education: Graduate in Business, Sales, or Retail Management (MBA preferred).
  • Other Requirements: Willingness to travel.
