AWS Databricks Platform - Sr. Engineer @ Iris Software

• The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in user access management, user persona development, and the ability to collaborate with architects to implement configuration changes.
• This role involves ensuring the security, performance, and reliability of the Databricks platform while supporting users and maintaining compliance with organizational policies.
• Good experience with SDLC
• Databricks platform administration is a must
• Must have security and access control experience, user provisioning
• Services integration experience
• Should be able to work with enterprise architects
• Good to have - API experience

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experienceas a Databricks Administrator or similar role.
• Strong experience withAWS services(IAM, S3, EC2, Lambda, Glue, etc.).
• Expertise inDatabricks administration, workspace management, and security configurations.
• Hands-on experience with AD groups,user access management, RBAC, and IAM policies.
• Experience indeveloping and managing user personaswithin enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding ofnetwork security, authentication, and data governance.
• Proficiency inPython, SQL, and Sparkfor troubleshooting and automation.
• Familiarity withTerraform, CloudFormation, or Infrastructure as Code (IaC)is a plus.
• Knowledge ofCI/CD pipelinesand DevOps best practices is desirable.
• Excellentcommunication and documentation skills.

• Databricks Certified Data Engineer Administrator
