Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect with strong expertise in Data Modelling to design, create, and manage scalable, robust, and efficient data architectures. The ideal candidate will lead data modelling efforts, ensuring data quality, consistency, and accessibility across various platforms and business units.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in information systems, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling techniques and methodologies
  • 8+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related field
  • Experience in data governance initiatives is must.
  • Hands on experience in design and implement architectural patterns for data quality, metadata management, data lineage, data security, and master data management
  • Expertise in SQL and database design for both relational and non-relational databases
  • Experience with data integration tools and ETL/ELT processes
  • Understanding of data governance principles and practices
  • Proficiency in working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Knowledge of big data technologies (Hadoop/Spark, etc.)
  • Experience with data visualization and BI tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Roles & responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-wide data architecture frameworks and models
  • Establish data governance policies, standards, and procedures
  • Design and implement architectural patterns for data quality, metadata management, data lineage, data security, and master data management (MDM) across various data platforms (e.g., data lakes, data warehouses, operational databases).
  • Design and enforce data security architectures, including access controls, encryption strategies, and data masking/anonymization techniques
  • Collaborate with Data Stewards to define technical specifications for data quality rules and validation checks.
  • Create and manage data dictionaries, metadata repositories, and data catalogs
  • Develop and implement data integration strategies across multiple platforms and systems
  • Lead data modeling efforts including conceptual, logical, and physical data models
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications
  • Evaluate and recommend database technologies and tools to meet business needs
  • Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations
  • Excellent communication and ability to mentor and inspire teams.
