Job Summary

As an Engineering Manager you will lead a team of talented engineers in a hybrid work model focusing on developing innovative solutions using Ruby. With 11 to 13 years of experience you will drive the technical direction ensuring high-quality deliverables that align with our companys goals. Your role will be pivotal in enhancing our engineering capabilities and contributing to impactful projects.


Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of engineers to design develop and implement software solutions using Ruby.
  • Oversee the entire software development lifecycle ensuring timely and quality deliverables.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering efforts with business objectives.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members fostering a culture of continuous learning.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices in coding testing and deployment processes.
  • Drive innovation by exploring new technologies and methodologies to enhance product offerings.
  • Manage project timelines resources and risks to ensure successful project completion.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Facilitate effective communication within the team and with stakeholders.
  • Monitor and improve system performance scalability and reliability.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for software architecture and processes.
  • Participate in recruitment and onboarding of new team members to build a strong engineering team.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making processes to achieve company goals.

  • Possess a strong background in software development with expertise in Ruby.
  • Demonstrate excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Have a proven track record of delivering complex software projects on time.
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Show proficiency in agile development methodologies.
