Job Description
We are looking for a highly experienced and results-driven Tableau Developer with 3 to 5 years of experience in designing, developing, and deploying business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Tableau, SQL, and data modeling, with a solid understanding of data visualization best practices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to transform complex data into actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, publish, and maintain advanced Tableau dashboards, visualizations, and reports.
- Analyze complex data sets and translate business requirements into meaningful dashboards.
- Optimize dashboards for performance, scalability, and usability.
- Manage Tableau Server environment, including user access and report governance.
- Collaborate with data engineers, business analysts, and key stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions.
- Perform detailed data validation and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Document technical requirements, data flows, and dashboard logic.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to junior developers when required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with large datasets.
- In-depth understanding of data visualization principles and dashboard design.
- Experience working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, Snowflake).
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Tableau certification (e.g., Desktop Certified Associate / Server Certified).
- Experience with Tableau Prep for data transformation.
- Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, R) for data analysis is a plus.
- Experience with other BI tools like Power BI or Qlik is a bonus.
