We at Perforce are looking for Software Engineer in Test for Akana team in Pune. Akana provides an end-to-end API management and API security solution. We work in an agile product development process with a state-of-the art CI/CD environment with core values of results, teamwork, ownership, quality of work, problem solving, and service to external and internal customers.Responsibilities:
As an individual contributor, design, develop, and maintain test cases based on requirements.
Gain product knowledge and become an expert in product functionality.
Perform manual testing, automation testing, and other relevant testing types.
Work closely with the development team to deliver high-quality products.
Actively participate and collaborate with multiple functional areas.
Build and execute automated test cases.
Analyse, research, and test new features.
Maintain and improve automated test coverage.
Work as part of an Agile SCRUM team delivering high-quality software in three-week sprints
Work independently to complete all assigned project tasks within deadlines.
Requirements:
3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in API testing, UI testing, and manual testing.
Familiarity with test automation frameworks and scripting languages.
Good understanding and coding experience in Java
Experience in REST and SOAP API testing using Rest Assured, REST Client, or similar tools.
Experience in UI testing using Selenium WebDriver or similar tools.
Exposure to version control tools (e.g., Git) and CI/CD systems such as Jenkins and Gradle.
Strong analytical and debugging skills.
Knowledge of OAuth2, API gateways, JSON, and XML is a plus.
Good command of English, both verbal and written.
