Key Responsibility Areas
Work with Cloud Developers on design, implementation, and maintenance of production environment
Assist with the design, implementation and maintenance of development environments
Manage transition strategies and processes related to promoting production- ready systems
Monitor and maintain production environments
Maintain and update repository of process documentations
Ensure that documented SSAE- 16 Policies and Procedures are followed and enforced
Review current and future environment designs, execute initiatives to reduce failures and defects, and improve overall performance
Maintain and ensure the readiness and availability of disaster recovery environments
Perform off- hour change controls and assist in defining processes related to production releases
Automate tasks and gather data using scripting languages
Must Have
5- 10yrs of work experience
Solid experience in working with AWS services (EC2, VPC, ELB, S3, Cloud Formation, Cloud Trail, Route 53, RDS, SQS, Code Deploy etc.)
Knowledge of Linux
Hands- on working experience in building DevOps platform in AWS cloud (Red Hat Certified Engineer preferred) and administering Hadoop servers
Expertise in any one scripting languages (Bash, Shell, Python, or Perl)
Exposure to modern IT infrastructure (eg. Docker swarm/ Mesos/ Kubernetes/ Openstack)
Knowledge of elastic and highly available architectures
