Role Overview:

We re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented CloudOps Engineer who can ensure cloud platform stability, drive automation, handle incidents, and contribute to AI-based initiatives and dashboard development. The role also demands availability during odd business hours for critical production issues and strong accountability for delivering operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities: Cloud Operations & Incident Management

• Monitor AWS infrastructure (Lambda, API Gateway, EC2, etc. ) for health and availability
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with minimal SLA breaches
• Ensure strict JIRA ticket hygiene (no work without a ticket, not more than 5 in-progress at a time)
• Publish daily and monthly operational reports

Automation & RCA (Root Cause Analysis)

• Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency by at least 5%
• Drive AI-based RCA implementation using AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, etc.
• Implement RCA across Lambda, backend services, and frontend APIs (Phased approach through June 2025)

Create and enhance dashboards using QuickSight

Track daily AWS service availability and security metrics

Drive visualization initiatives like region-wise heatmaps, RCA impact timelines, etc.

Improve AWS Security Hub score to 90%

Benchmark current score and identify focus areas for enhancement

Project Planning & Tools

Maintain project plans with phase-wise milestones and timelines

Track and manage tasks using Microsoft Planner and Loop

Document operational workflows, RCA logic, and automation requirements

• Organize 4+ internal workshops annually (2 technical + 2 soft skills, ideally AI-focused)
• Collaborate with L3 teams and promote cross-team alignment and accountability

Required Skills:

Strong AWS experience (Lambda, EC2, CloudWatch, Security Hub)

Proficient in Python for automation

Familiar with QuickSight or other dashboarding tools

Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and incident tracking

Exposure to AI/ML tools like Bedrock, LangChain, or SageMaker is a bonus

Expectations:

• Availability for critical incidents during non-standard business hours
• Daily ticket and worklog updates in JIRA & Confluence
• Drive initiatives like AI-RCA, automation, and ecosystem availability tracking
