Python Developer @ Sourcefuse

Job Description

• Design, develop, and maintain Python applications, ensuring high-quality code, performance, and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze software requirements and create technical specifications.
• Implement new features and enhancements, and troubleshoot and fix software defects.

• Lead code reviews and mentor junior developers to ensure code quality, adherence to coding standards, and best practices.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and debugging to ensure software reliability and stability.

• Create and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture, API documentation, and code documentation.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers, to deliver high-quality software products.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest Python and software development trends, tools, and best practices.

• Experience required 1-2 years.
• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master s degree preferred).
• Proven experience as a Python Developer with a strong portfolio of Python projects.
• Expertise in Python, including Python 3, and familiarity with Python frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask).
• Proficiency in database systems (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and issue tracking tools.
• Hands-on knowledge of any of the popular cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Experience with database systems, web frameworks, and cloud platforms specifically Jupyter Notebook.
• Good to have experience with Reporting dashboards such as DOMO, Power BI and others.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in software development lifecycle, agile methodologies, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines is a plus.
