Job Description
Responsibilities- Responsible for Intergraph Smart P&ID product from Hexagon ALI Suite of products/ applications and manage the requirements of it.
- Work in collaboration with the Chief Product Owner to define and deliver strategic direction and product vision for the current and next generation of innovative solutions by continuously analyzing evolving technology trends, market dynamics, and customer needs to ensure long-term product relevance and competitive advantage.
- Responsible for managing the product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.
- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes.
- Interact with other Product Owners/Business Development / Support / Development / QA / Sales unit(s) and drive the solution to achieve business goals.
- Responsible for communicating with customers effectively and manage their expectations related to SPID product.
- In-charge for Project Performance/Monitoring & Reporting of Project status to the stakeholders.
- Act as point of reference for all product related enquiries and work collaboratively with colleagues and Research to address any issues that may arise.
- Assist/Update Executive management with detailed plans/status of SPID product for controlled advertising, promotion(s) and sales aids in accordance with the annual plan.
- Additional responsibilities may include aid in pre-sales activities/Conduct workshops with customers and other stakeholders/Conference presentations & demonstrations.
Education / Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering/Technology in Chemical/ Instrumentation/ Electrical/ Mechanical/ or Equivalent with expertise in Process Engineering workflows across Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, and Chemical industries and EPC/Owner-Operator perspectives in both FEED and Detailed Design phases for Greenfield/Brownfield projects.
- Experience: 7 - 10 years
Skills Required:
Domain Skills:
- Strong understanding of Process/Instrumentation Engineering Domain and associated methodology in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, Mining and Chemical industries.
- Experience in Greenfield/Brownfield projects working for Owner/Operator or EPC in both FEED and Detailed Design phases.
- Proven track record of managing/working as expert design and detailing of 2D Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams.
- Experience of working in Plant facility design department or experience in maintenance of 2D As-built changes, turn around projects.
- Knowledge in operations and exposure to As-built retrofit engineering is an added advantage.
Technical Skills:
- Deep hands-on experience with Intergraph Smart P&ID application is essential.
- Basic understanding of database schemas, especially Oracle/MS SQL used in engineering design environments and sequential querying.
- Exposure/experience in software development processes like Agile, Scrum/SAFe etc.
- Awareness of cloud deployment models and SaaS-based engineering platforms is a plus.
- Power User of Computers in general (Basic understanding of OS its peripheral tools etc.)
- Preferred (not required): Exposure to commercially available 2D drafting systems (e.g. Aveva P&ID, AutoCAD P&ID, COMOS etc.)

- Customer-centric mindset with critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Leadership skills with agility and adaptability.
