Position Title: Software Engineer Java FullStack & DevOps

Location : Chennai, India (Prefers only chennai based profiles )

Experience Required : 9 to 12 years (Java), 5+ relevant exp in (DevOps)

Department : IFS Luxembourg Fund Admin

Industry : Banking & Financial Services

Employment Type : Full-Time

Notice period : Immediate to short joiners(Serving np)

Role Overview:

We are looking for a multi-skilled Software Engineer with deep expertise in Java FullStack development and DevOps toolchains.

This role involves end-to-end software development, automation, testing, and support in a collaborative Agile environment.

Youll work closely with our global teams to deliver robust, scalable, and high-performance applications for our Luxembourg business.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze and translate business requirements into technical solutions

Design, develop, test (unit + automation), and implement applications

Build RESTful APIs and Microservices

Manage DevOps pipelines using Jenkins, Git, and SonarQube

Collaborate with onshore/offshore teams to ensure quality deliverables

Troubleshoot and optimize application performance

Support UAT and production environments

Mentor junior team members and conduct code reviews

What Were Looking For:

Must-Have Skills:

9 to 12 years of hands-on Java/JEE/Microservices development

5+ relevant years of experience with DevOps tools: Jenkins, Git, Sonar

Experience building and consuming REST APIs

Frontend: JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS

Experience in test automation using Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress

Proficient with SQL, Oracle, and debugging complex queries

Experience working in Agile/Iterative SDLC

Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Knowledge of ExtJS, Octane, or Cloud platforms

Familiarity with performance tuning or security best practices

Experience working in the BFSI domain
