8+ years of hands-on experience in latest CommVault
Solid understanding of data protection best practices and disaster recovery principles.
Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
Experience using service management tools like ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, etc.
Bachelors degree in Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day support and administration for data protection environments across assigned customer accounts.
Monitor system health and performance, conduct regular health checks, and respond to alerts in line with established guidelines.
Troubleshoot data protection incidents and coordinate resolution, including engagement with 3rd-party vendors and internal support teams.
Perform data restores and implement configuration changes according to customer needs and change management processes (ITIL).
Manage incident, service request, and change tickets via commercial service management tools.
Generate and deliver daily, weekly, and monthly operations reports to internal stakeholders and customer representatives.
Maintain accurate documentation for data protection processes and configurations.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and standards.
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying operational gaps and opportunities within assigned accounts.
