The team Hitachi Digital is a leader in digital transformation, leveraging advanced AI and data technologies to drive innovation and efficiency across various operational companies (OpCos) and departments. For the unique role of Data and AI Governance Lead, we are seeking a highly experienced Leader, to ensure robust data governance and ethical AI practices; we are looking for someone who can build and foster cross-functional collaboration throughout the enterprise. The role In this role you will be working with various legal, technical, and business teams to communicate risk findings and drive informed decision-making. You will conduct comprehensive risk assessments of divisional data management and AI projects while recommending mitigation strategies; you will develop and maintain AI governance guidance, ensuring alignment across the organization considering industry standards and regulatory requirements.An important aspect of the role is to promote transparency, fairness, and accountability in AI practices, while closely collaborating with information security teams to advise data management practices and address AI-specific security risks. You will adhere to data and AI policies and standards, offering guidance as needed. Additionally, you will help develop enterprise training to raise awareness of data management and AI risks and best practices. What youll bringPreferred Qualifications:Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements for data and AI governance.
