About the GEM Product:
GEM (Give Every Month) is ImpactGuru's recurring giving program designed to create a
sustainable stream of donations for critical medical cases. This role involves working closely
with our existing donor base, engaging them meaningfully, and building lasting relationships that
encourage continued monthly contributions.
Role Overview:
We are looking for enthusiastic and empathetic individuals to join our Donor Relations Team
for the GEM product. As part of this team, you will engage with existing and potential donors,
nurture long-term relationships, and ensure a high level of donor satisfaction and retention.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively connect with existing donors via phone, email, and chat to encourage
monthly contributions.
Clearly articulate the impact of recurring donations and explain the benefits of the GEM
program.
Address donor queries, concerns, or feedback in a timely and professional manner.
Build trust-based relationships with donors to ensure sustained giving and loyalty.
Track and maintain accurate records of donor interactions using CRM tools.
Collaborate with internal teams to understand ongoing fundraising campaigns and donor
impact stories.
Provide periodic updates and gratitude messages to GEM donors to reinforce their
impact.
Ensure all communication aligns with ImpactGuru's tone and messaging guidelines.
Meet and exceed donor retention and conversion targets as per team goals.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Education:
Graduate in any discipline; MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is a Plus.
Experience Required:
1 to 7 years of professional experience, preferably in the Health Insurance industry, in
roles such as:
Telecalling / Inside Sales: Engaging with prospective or existing clients to explain
insurance products, benefits, and features, with the goal of converting inquiries into
sales or renewals.
Telesales: Selling health insurance plans over the phone, following up on leads,
explaining policy terms, and ensuring compliance with IRDAI regulations. Candidates with a proven track record in donor engagement, health-related services, or
subscription-based customer models will be preferred. Prior experience in working with CRM
tools and managing a large volume of client interactions is an added advantage
Skills Required:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Fluency in English is a must).
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Empathy and a passion for social causes.
Target-oriented mindset with a focus on donor satisfaction.
Familiarity with CRM systems and donor management tools preferred.
