Responsibilities
  • Product and Service Presentation: Present the company s products and services effectively to potential customers, with a focus on security and surveillance solutions.
  • Lead Generation: Identify and pursue potential customers through proactive cold calling and networking, targeting sectors requiring security and surveillance products.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to achieve company sales goals and objectives.
  • Sales Targets: Meet and exceed monthly sales goals and expectations.
  • Customer Feedback: Gather customer feedback and ensure that concerns or suggestions are addressed promptly to improve customer satisfaction.
  • Sales Contracts: Draft sales contracts in accordance with company guidelines and ensure all necessary documentation is in place.
  • Proposal Communication: Ensure customers are well-informed about sales proposals and the benefits of the products or services offered.
  • Sales Performance Metrics: Track and analyze sales performance metrics to assess individual and team progress.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about current market trends, competition, and potential opportunities for growth in the security and surveillance industry.
  • Customer Issue Resolution: Proactively resolve customer complaints or issues before the sales are completed, ensuring smooth transactions.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with customers (Government and Corporate), ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Provide exceptional customer service to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Reporting: Prepare monthly sales reports and present findings to senior management to highlight successes, challenges, and opportunities for growth.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry technologies and market developments to remain competitive and effective in the role.
  • Resilience: Demonstrate resilience in handling challenging situations and meeting sales targets despite obstacles.
  • Communication: Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills, influencing and negotiating with customers and colleagues effectively.
  • Team-Oriented: Ability to work well within a team environment while maintaining individual performance standards.
  • Commercial Awareness: Have a good understanding of commercial dynamics and business implications of sales activities.
  • IT Proficiency: Utilize necessary IT tools and software to track and manage sales activities efficiently.
Qualifications Required Experience:
  • Industry Experience: We are specifically looking for candidates who have experience selling similar products to those offered by Vehant, such as X-ray baggage scanners, UVSS (Under Vehicle Surveillance Systems), ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition), CCTV, Boom barriers, bollards, and entrance security products.
  • Knowledge of Security Solutions: A strong understanding of the security and surveillance industry, including the technical aspects and unique requirements of products like X-ray scanners and access control solutions.

  • Follow-up Skills: Excellent at following up on leads, opportunities, and sales activities.
  • Initiative: Strong sense of initiative to drive sales and customer engagement.
  • Pressure Management: Ability to handle pressure and deliver results under challenging conditions.
