Job Description
- Provide personalized academic guidance to students, helping them understand their options and make informed decisions regarding their educational paths.
- Conduct one-on-one counselling sessions to assess students' needs, interests, and academic performance.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to enhance students' academic performance and engagement.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of educational programs, admission processes, and scholarship opportunities.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to create a supportive learning environment for students.
- Utilize negotiation skills to assist students in resolving academic challenges and conflicts.
- Coordinate with sales teams to promote educational programs and services effectively.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to students and parents about academic programs and opportunities.
- Document and track student progress and outcomes, providing regular reports to management.
- A bachelors degree in education, psychology, or a related field.
- 0 to 2 years of relevant work experience in academic counselling or a similar role.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
- Proven negotiation skills and the ability to persuade and influence others.
- Excellent convincing power to motivate students and encourage them to pursue their academic goals.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficient in using technology and knowledgeware to enhance counselling services.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
