Job Description
- As a Design Engineer specializing in Plumbing / Public Health Engineering (PHE) for high-rise building projects, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing all aspects of plumbing system design while working closely with multidisciplinary teams. Your responsibilities will include coordinating with the Project Manager and Technical Manager on design matters, leading plumbing/PHE design efforts for major building projects, supervising junior engineers and technicians, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards, conducting design reviews, and maintaining accurate project documentation. Your technical responsibilities will involve tasks such as water demand calculation, designing hot & cold water systems, drainage systems, hot water systems, cold water systems, solar water heating systems, fire protection systems, water purification systems, grey/black water recycling systems, and borewell/borehole water systems. To excel in this role, you should hold a B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering with 8-10 years of experience in building services design, particularly in plumbing and PHE. Proficiency in Indian and international standards, experience in Fire Protection and Detection System design, and knowledge of AutoCAD are essential. Familiarity with Revit MEP is considered an advantage. Strong coordination, communication, and leadership skills are key attributes for success in this position.
