Job Description

As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data ingestion pipelines using Databricks and PySpark, focusing on Autoloader to ensure efficient data processing. You will also be tasked with developing and maintaining processes for handling complex nested JSON files, guaranteeing data integrity and accessibility. Integration and management of data from various APIs to ensure seamless data flow and consistency will be a key part of your role. Creating and optimizing data models to support analytics and reporting needs, along with optimizing data processing and storage solutions for performance and cost-efficiency, will be essential tasks. Collaboration with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide effective solutions is a crucial aspect of this position. Your responsibilities will also include ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and security of data throughout its lifecycle. To excel in this role, you should have proficiency in Databricks, PySpark, and SQL, with strong experience in Autoloader and handling nested JSON files. Demonstrated experience in API integration, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams are also required. Ideally, you should have 3-5 years of experience in data engineering, data integration, and data modeling. A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Additionally, experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools, and knowledge of data governance and security best practices would be advantageous for this role.,
