Job Description

You will be working as a Senior Engineer in the Cement industry at GU - Patliputra Cement Works in Bihar, India. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and ensure the smooth operation of Cement Mill operations at optimized cost and defined parameters to maintain uninterrupted plant production and quality. Your role will involve supervising and monitoring activities such as grinding media sorting, degradation, shutdown activities, inventory control, execution, and planning related to grinding media. You will also be responsible for maintaining knowledge of operation-related SOPs, production reporting in SAP, and ensuring compliance with safety standards such as ISO, OHSAS, EMS, WCM, etc. As a Senior Engineer, you will need to have hands-on experience in Cement Plant Operations, familiarity with cement mill VRM, ball mill with RP, heat balance, and flow balance. You will also be required to identify and analyze various process inputs and parameters for cost reduction and effective plant operation. Additionally, you will oversee the timely execution of repairs in the CM section and ensure the availability of standby equipment for equipment improvement. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a Diploma in Cement technology with a minimum of 5-8 years of experience in a similar field. You will report to the Assistant General Manager and work towards achieving operational excellence and cost optimization in the Cement industry.,
