Job Description
- As an automation engineer at FIS, you will be a part of the automation team within the STS group in capital markets. Your primary responsibilities will include working on client or internal engagements to complete automation tasks within the set timelines and with the highest quality. Clear and timely communication for the projects you work on will be crucial, along with the ability to escalate and resolve issues promptly. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree or have an equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience. You must have a minimum of 2-5 years of overall experience with a significant focus on automation. Proficiency in QA Automation tools, specifically Selenium with Java, is essential. Hands-on experience in building automation frameworks using Java and scripting languages like Java and Selenium will be required. Additionally, you should possess strong problem-solving skills, the ability to translate client requirements into technical specifications, and participate actively in the automation process. Effective verbal and written communication skills are also a must-have for this role. Any exposure to agile methodologies for development and knowledge of test management tools like JIRA and TestRail would be considered an added advantage.
