Job Description
Backend Developer - Rajya Sabha
We are looking for a seasoned Backend Developer with expertise in Laravel integration with
PostGRE / MongoDB / MySQL.
You will be responsible for developing and maintaining a scalable backend using Nginx, Redis,
and Elasticsearch, and you will work closely with the Frontend, Mobile App, and DevOps
teams to deliver high-performance applications.
Desirable: Proficiency in PHP, OOP, and Laravel features like migrations, seeding, and API
development.
Strong experience in data encryption, both in transit and at rest, using protocols like
AES, RSA, and TLS.
Proficiency in implementing identity verification systems such as OAuth2, JWT, and
passwordless authentication mechanisms.
Experience with Digital Signature Certificates (DSC) and other advanced identity
management systems.
Hands-on experience with RESTful API development and integration with third-party
services and applications Proficiency in JPA for database interaction.
Experience with deploying APIs, integrating Redis for caching, and handling
microservices Experience with Nginx for serving Laravel applications, Redis for caching, and
Elasticsearch for implementing scalable search.
Knowledge of NLP and Machine Learning integration for search functionality.
Experience with Docker for containerization and deployment of backend services.
Familiarity with MySQL and MongoDB , PostGRE databases and Laravels Eloquent
ORM. Proficiency in version control systems like Git
Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or AWS
CodePipeline.
Experience with NIC cloud platforms and private cloud like AWS, Azure, etc.
Experience with passwordless authentication methods (e.g., magic links, biometrics,
WebAuthn).
Experience in working on atleast two large scale digital transformation projects in the
Government involving business process re-engineering, workflow automation, document
management, single sign on. Develop RESTful APIs using Laravel, ensuring secure endpoints with Laravel
Passport or Sanctum.
Set up and manage Nginx to efficiently serve the Laravel backend and handle
requests as a reverse proxy.
Integrate Redis for caching to improve performance and reduce database load.
Implement advanced search functionalities using Elasticsearch.
Use Natural Language Processing (NLP) libraries like spaCy or NLTK for
search-related tasks like named entity recognition or sentiment analysis. Apply Machine Learning algorithms (with scikit-learn) to enhance search
relevance and personalization features.
Manage database schema changes using Laravel migrations and facilitate bulk
data import/export using Laravel Excel or CSV.
Containerize backend services using Docker for easier deployment and
scalability.
Collaborate with the frontend team to provide a seamless integration with the
Vue.js frontend.
