Bachelor s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience in infrastructure, containerization (e.g., Kubernetes, Openshift, etc.) and web technologies.
2 years of experience in a customer-facing role with troubleshooting, code-reading and debugging in Python, Shell, Bash, Java or C/C++.
Experience with Operating System (OS) like Linux Networking and System Design (e.g., infrastructure design, low level design/high level design, load balancers, Content Delivery Network (CDN), Denial of Service (DOS) protectors, etc.).
Preferred qualifications:
Certification in Kubernetes Application Developement (CKAD), Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Kubernetes Security.
Experience with Google Kubernetes Engine, Kubernetes or Openshift.
Experience with Anthos and Developer Operations.

Responsibilities
Work with customers on their production Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)/Anthos deployments to resolve issues and achieve product readiness, availability, and scale.
Develop an understanding of Google Cloud's GKE/Anthos product technology and underlying architectures by troubleshooting, reproducing, and determining the root cause for customer-reported issues, building tools, and diagnosis.
Act as consultant and subject matter expert for internal stakeholders in engineering, business, customer organizations to resolve technical deployment obstacles and improve Google Cloud.
Work as a team of engineers/consultants that ensure customer support. Work non-standard work hours/shifts, and may include weekend work.
Understand customer issues, advocate for their needs with internal teams, including product and engineering teams, to find ways to improve the product, and drive production.
