DevOps Engineer Lead

Job Summary
As a DevOps Engineer Lead, you will be responsible for leading the DevOps initiatives within the client organization, driving the adoption of best practices, and ensuring the seamless integration of development and operations processes. You will mentor a team of DevOps engineers, optimize deployment pipelines, and manage infrastructure to support reliable and scalable software delivery.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Lead the development and implementation of deployment pipelines and automation processes.
- Guide and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Oversee the management and optimization of infrastructure as code (IaC) to ensure consistency and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align DevOps strategies with business objectives and improve system performance.
- Monitor system performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance reliability and efficiency.
- Develop and enforce best practices for DevOps processes, tools, and technologies across the organization.
- Stay informed of industry trends and emerging technologies, driving continuous improvement in DevOps practices.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive 8+ years of experience with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure management. Tech stack detailed below.
- Proven leadership skills, with experience in mentoring and managing engineering teams.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to address complex system issues.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Must have : AWS, terraform, CI/CD Pipelines, k8s, docker, helm
- Good to have : GitHub Actions, SRE(Grafana, Prometheus)
