We are seeking a motivated and energetic Assistant Store Manager (ASM) to join our Business Development team at Wooden Street. The ASM will play a key role in supporting the Store Manager in daily store operations, achieving sales targets, delivering an exceptional customer experience, and leading a team of store associates. Youll help ensure that the store runs efficiently while upholding the brandservice and visual standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support in developing strategies to grow the customer base, increase footfall, and maximize store profitability

  • Assist in training, mentoring, and motivating the sales team to achieve individual and team targets

  • Ensure exceptional customer service to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction

  • Handle store operations including inventory, compliance, and administrative tasks

  • Maintain the stores visual standards and overall cleanliness

  • Track buying patterns, customer needs, and sales trends to support business decisions

  • Share innovative ideas to improve customer engagement and boost revenue

  • Conduct regular performance reviews and recommend training plans for staff

  • Address customer complaints and internal issues in a timely and professional manner

  • Act as a role model for excellent customer service and professional conduct

  • Take over Store Manager duties in their absence and support overall store management



    Requirements
    • Proven experience in retail operations, preferably as an Assistant Store Manager or Senior Sales Executive

    • Strong leadership and people management skills

    • Customer-first approach with the ability to handle escalations gracefully

    • Good organizational and multitasking skills

    • Strong verbal and written communication abilities

    • Energetic, proactive, and results-oriented mindset

    • Graduation in any stream preferred
