Software Engineer - PHP/WordPress Developer @ Mindfire

Job Description

• Convert Figma / UI designs into high-quality, responsive WordPress pages using page builders like Divi, Elementor, Avada, or similar tools.
• Customize WordPress themes and templates based on design and functional specifications.
• Collaborate with designers, senior developers, and cross-functional teams to implement features and resolve technical issues.
• Develop or enhance custom WordPress plugins using PHP, JavaScript, and WordPress APIs.
• Optimize websites for performance, SEO, mobile responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Ensure consistency in design and user experience across multiple projects and platforms.
• Maintain and update existing websites, perform regular site audits and fixes.

• Good understanding of WordPress architecture, themes, and plugins.
• Basic knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks and responsive design practices.
• Experience with WordPress page builders like Elementor, Divi, or Avada.
• Ability to debug issues using browser dev tools and logs.
• Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and problem-solving mindset.

• Experience with version control tools like Git.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs and JSON.
• Exposure to website deployment, migration, or staging environments.
