About The Job:

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive / Manager to join our team in the staffing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and driving revenue growth through staffing and recruitment services. A deep understanding of the staffing industry, strong communication skills, and a proven sales background are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities through market research, networking, cold calling, and lead generation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to understand their staffing needs.
  • Pitch staffing solutions (contract, permanent, temporary, RPO) to potential clients across industries.
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow the client base and meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Collaborate with the recruitment team to ensure successful fulfilment of client requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver effective presentations and proposals to clients.
  • Negotiate contracts, rates, and terms of service.
  • Track and report key business development metrics on a regular basis.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Experience in IT/Non-IT staffing sales (depending on specialization).
  • Existing client relationships or a strong network in industries like IT, BFSI, Healthcare, Manufacturing, etc.
  • Knowledge of recruitment technologies like ATS or VMS platforms.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, HR, or related field (MBA preferred for manager level).
  • Proven experience 5+ years in business development or sales in the staffing/recruitment industry.
  • Strong knowledge of staffing models, recruitment lifecycle, and labor market trends.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
  • Goal-oriented with a strong drive to meet targets and grow revenue.
