About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Mid-Level QA Analyst to join our growing consultancy team. As a QA Analyst, youll collaborate closely with software development teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality web and mobile applications across various client engagements. You will be responsible for both manual testing and contributing to our growing automated testing suite, primarily using Playwright. Familiarity with performance, security, or accessibility testing is a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with developers, designers, and business analysts to understand requirements and define test strategies.
Execute and maintain manual test cases for functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript or Python preferred).
Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
Identify, log, and track defects using tools like Azure DevOps, JIRA, or equivalent.
Contribute to test plans, test cases, and test documentation.
Perform cross-browser and responsive testing of web applications.
Support performance/load testing using tools such as JMeter, k6, or Locust.
Contribute to basic security testing, e.g., running tools like OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, or using static analysis plugins.
Execute accessibility testing with tools such as axe DevTools, WAVE, or Lighthouse.
Advocate for QA best practices and help educate development teams on quality standards.
Provide QA input into CI/CD pipelines where relevant.
Required Skills & Experience
24 years experience in a QA role, ideally within an Agile or consultancy environment.
Strong experience in manual testing of web-based applications.
Practical experience with automated testing frameworks, especially Playwright.
Solid understanding of test lifecycle, defect management, and quality processes.
Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or similar.
Understanding of performance testing tools and concepts (e.g., JMeter, k6).
Awareness of basic security testing principles and tools (e.g., OWASP top 10, ZAP).
Exposure to accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and use of a11y tools.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Desirable Skills
Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure Pipelines, Jenkins).
Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
ISTQB certification or similar (desirable but not required).
Experience in testing mobile or cross-platform applications (e.g., using Appium, BrowserStack).
Background in consultancy or client-facing QA roles.
