We have open position of AWS Database Engineer Chennai 7+ - Wipro C2H

Title/Role: AWS Database Engineer, AWS DBA, Database Administrator (Cloud-focused)

Experience: 7+ years overall; at least 5 years in database management/operations, preferably on AWS environments

Primary Skills: AWS (RDS, Redshift, Opensearch/Elasticsearch), MSSQL (SQL Server), PostgreSQL (PgSQL), CI/CD pipelines

Good to Have: DynamoDB, GraphDB, Redis, Agile/Scrum methodologies, JIRA, regulatory controls (GDPR/SOCII), scripting

Responsibilities : Database admin & operations, incident resolution, performance tuning, process improvement/automation

Excluded Profiles: DB admins with no AWS experience, only Oracle/MySQL DBAs, pure developers (not admin/engg), helpdesk

Soft Skills: Analytical/problem solving, mentoring/junior coaching, communication, ownership, attention to detail

Certifications: AWS Certified Database - Specialty, relevant internal/external DB/cloud certifications (preferred)

Work Setup: Hybrid (Chennai): must be open to both remote and assigned office days
