Job Description
Role & responsibilities IBS (Planning & Design)
experience 5 + years
Location -
jd Location: Gurgaon (GG-VII & OKAYA), Chennai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Coimbatore
Key Responsibilities:
- IBS design using iBwave tool:
- Prepare prediction models in iBwave.
- Calculate link budget, SC6.
- DAS test plan for proposed IBS.
- Understanding walk test measurement and existing network performance to determine IBS requirement and suggest possible solutions.
- Able to Design and configure, commissioning and Optimization of active DAS solutions, ensuring compatibility with existing network infrastructure.
- Conduct Acceptance testing and validation of active DAS installations.
- Develop and implement strategies, maintaining detailed documentation for capacity planning and load balancing in active DAS systems.
- Able to Conduct/review Site surveys and feasibility studies to assess the viability of proposed In-building solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards throughout the Design and Implementation process.
- Optimize existing IBS for better user experience.
- Analysis of customer complaints and solving the issue proactively.
- Experience in various RF testing like CW testing, PIM testing, external interference analysis, etc.
- To support New Site Build (NSB) rollout related actives
- Set radio system parameters for UMTS/LTE/5G network.
- Implement RF parameters and configure/ integrate new Sites into existing 5G/ LTE/ HSPA network.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to mitigate challenges and be able to provide solutions.
- Work with other engineers/departments to troubleshoot worst-performing IBS,
- Maintain accurate project information in database/tracking spreadsheets.
- Interact with all IBS project stakeholders including NI to maintain an up-to-date understanding of project status.
- Internal, cross team management, Collaboration with equipment vendors for product-related updates.
- Able to forecast task volumes etc.
- MS office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SQL, Tools Proficiency, Automation.
- OEM- Ericsson
Key Qualifications:
- Good Communication Skills & Customer Interaction Exp.
- Telecom knowledge of UMTS/LTE/5G.
- RF Planning & IBS planning experience, iBwave tool, MapInfo, Others GIS tool, Link budget etc
- Stakeholders management.
- Location: Gurgaon (GG-VII & OKAYA), Chennai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Coimbatore.
- Requirement to work in Client Time Zone (Night Shift).
- Qualification: B.E /B. Tech in Communications / Electrical/ Computer Science.
