Role & responsibilities
Responsibilities:
# Create software and hardware technical documentation
# Closely collaborating with the project team/offer development team
# Investigate relevant information from Offer development and Offer management
# Transfer technical input into readable, easy understandable content / topics with the right text and illustration mix for your target audience. Brief technical illustrators
# Being part of an international technical documentation team, collaborate on guidelines and new technologies for digitizing our information (e.g. html 5 responsive)
# Manage DITA content in our authoring system (PTC Arbortext) for efficient reuse and standardization
# Manage translation and localization process
# Publish created information on the web and prepare files for the printing office
# Ability to structure information and translate complicated concepts into easy to follow instructions, education as technical writer is a must
# Very good understanding of technical writing concepts such as ANSI safety warnings, consistent terminology, unambiguous language
# Ideally a bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
# Fluency in English, strong writing skills in English, native speaker an advantage
# Experienced with using technical writing tools (ideally Arbortext or comparable XML editor, Adobe technical communication tools) and collaboration tools (Teams, Planner).
# Experience with working in an agile environment
# Strong communicating and coordination skills
# Motivated to introduce new methods for providing technical documentation
# Fluent in both spoken and written English
# Positive and open attitude, flexibility.
# Collaborative working style, team-player
