Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Power BI Engineer to join a cybersecurity-focused remediation program supporting a Fortune 50 enterprise IT organization. This initiative is centered on reducing exposed secrets in code repositoriesprimarily GitHub Enterpriseand driving actionable insight through data visualization and reporting.
As a member of the remediation and security posture team, you will design and maintain dashboards that track burndown velocity, remediation KPIs, exceptions, and compliance metrics. These insights will directly support technical execution and strategic alignment across multiple business and engineering units. While the initial scope of the project centers on GitHub secrets, reporting outputs will play a key role in enabling broader posture visibility and may eventually extend to integrate with platforms such as Prisma Cloud, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, and others.
This role is well-suited for a data visualization professional who is comfortable working within security-adjacent environments and translating technical progress into meaningful insights for both engineers and executive stakeholders.Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards that track remediation progress, secrets burndown metrics, exception management, and trend analytics
- Translate raw and structured data from sources such as GitHub, ServiceNow, and internal databases into actionable visualizations
- Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and program leadership to define metrics and optimize dashboard functionality over time
- Support the ingestion and integration of data from other enterprise systems (e.g., Prisma Cloud, Azure DevOps) as the project matures
- Ensure reporting outputs are intuitive, reliable, and tailored to varying stakeholder audiences
- Provide documentation and ad hoc support for dashboard users, including security and governance teams
Required Qualifications
- 35 years of experience designing and developing Power BI dashboards in enterprise settings
- Proficient in DAX, Power Query, and strong data modeling techniques
- Ability to work with large and complex datasets, with attention to visualization clarity and stakeholder usability
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to define business requirements and translate them into reporting solutions
- Strong communication skills and ability to convey technical insights to non-technical audiences
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with enterprise security or IT tools such as ServiceNow, GitHub, Prisma Cloud, or Azure DevOps
- Exposure to reporting within security, risk, compliance, or posture management initiatives
- Experience with KPI design, compliance dashboards, or burndown visualization strategies
- Interest in supporting security-related data insights in a DevSecOps or posture-driven environment
- Experience working in large enterprise or global consulting engagements
