Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and optimize WLAN firmware and driver components based on IEEE 802.11 standards (a/b/g/n/ac/ax).
Develop and maintain wireless connectivity stacks and protocol layers (MAC, PHY).
Work with hardware and software teams to integrate WLAN solutions into embedded systems or mobile platforms (e.g., Android/Linux).
Analyze and resolve wireless performance issues, latency problems, and interference.
Support test and validation efforts using tools like Wireshark, protocol analyzers, and signal generators.
Contribute to debugging and troubleshooting of wireless communication issues in complex environments.
Keep up to date with evolving WLAN technologies, standards, and regulatory compliance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related fields.
Strong programming skills in C/C++.
Hands-on experience with Linux kernel, device driver development, and networking subsystems.
Knowledge of wireless standards including 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax.
Familiarity with Hostapd, wpa_supplicant, or similar open-source Wi-Fi stacks.
Proficiency in using wireless debugging and analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark, Omnipeek).
Understanding of TCP/IP and networking fundamentals.
