Job Description
- As a Lead Software Engineer at Mastercard, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality business and functional requirements to development teams. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with architect guild, analysts, and technical leads to refine requirements, build business cases, and ensure that system functionality aligns with user requirements. You will leverage your expertise in Certificate signing and Privileged access management to develop IT solutions that meet key objectives. With over 10 years of career experience in Development and technical leadership, you will be an expert in full stack development with a strong Java background, including Java, Springboot, and Microservices. Proficiency in Golang is preferred, along with excellent expertise in Linux. Experience with tools such as Chef, Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, SonarQube, and Git will be essential for this role. Your ability to quickly learn technical product knowledge, especially security-related concepts, and understanding of the product development lifecycle will be key assets. You should also have experience working on large-scale enterprise initiatives and leveraging Information Security-related concepts and Privileged access management. Strong written and verbal communication skills are crucial, along with the ability to convey messages at different levels, from detailed technical discussions to high-level management presentations. Your proactive and motivated approach, coupled with a high degree of ownership, will be essential in driving the success of the team and product. Comprehensive experience in agile delivery methodologies, CI/CD, and deep understanding of platform integration patterns will be advantageous. Hands-on experience in code reviews, change management, and expertise with tools such as Confluence, Splunk, Rally, Remedy, and JIRA will further enhance your capabilities in this role.
