Job Description
- As a Specialist in the field of technology at Sterlite Technologies Limited, you will play a crucial role in supporting the adoption and implementation of newer technologies by utilizing your valuable technical knowledge and practical experience. With a focus on Material Science, LAN Cable, Fiber Optic Cable, and Connectivity, you will be expected to leverage your expertise to contribute to the growth and success of the organization. Your key accountabilities will include translating customer pain points and expectations into technical requirements, collaborating with sales and pre-sales teams to showcase organizational capabilities, and providing recommendations for delivering application engineering solutions effectively. Additionally, you will work closely with the Technology Unit Head to visualize and implement new technologies while identifying and reporting any technical roadblocks in implementation or adoption. To excel in this role, you should hold a B.Tech/M.Tech degree with 8-12 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Matlab, SQL, C++, and Azure, along with experience in big data and machine learning tools, will be essential. Your strong skills in data visualization, data wrangling, DBMS, statistical analysis, A/B testing, ETL, time-series forecasting, and hypothesis testing will be highly valuable for this position. Moreover, your excellent stakeholder management, communication, and storytelling abilities will contribute to your success in this role. Desirable qualifications include experience in manufacturing, process engineering, or operations analytics.
